Welcome back to Tigerland: message from the President
There’s the smell of Dencorub in the air, the sound of leather on the boot and the sight of kids running around with their mates and playing the great game of AFL.
Welcome to 2020, we finally got there.
It’s certainly not been the normal start to the season but here we are with round 1 upon us. I’m excited and grateful that we’ve managed to get back to Footy in 2020 and on behalf of the committee and the club, thank you all for your continued support for the Pittwater Tigers.
This year is unlike any other and while we are all excited to be back playing footy, we must still be very much aware of the continued health challenges facing our community.
There are some very important new guidelines that as a club we must adhere to. Spectators will be kept to a minimum with only one parent allowed to watch the game, no grandparents, friends or relatives are allowed.
This season we still want you proudly cheering on our Tigers, however please do so while practicing social distancing and keep more than 1.5 meters apart when at Tigerland. There will be plenty of hand sanitizer and signs reminding you all to keep your distance. Please note that all change room facilities will be closed for the season. Children will not be permitted into the Club House or the kitchen and only 8 people maximum allowed at one time in the building. I can’t wait for game game day and I look forward to seeing you around the club,
