Pittwater Tigers is excited to launch the first Kickability Program on the Northern Beaches in 2024 with the help from a AAMI Clangers for Good Grant and support from AFL NSW/ACT and AFL Kids!

Kickability is "All-Ability", modified AFL for those who identify as living with disability or need additional support playing Australian Football for youth aged 5 to 19. *** NOW ACCEPTING SENIOR PLAYERS! 

 

It will be held Sundays 10:30am at North Narrabeen Reserve from May to August 2024, exclusive of school holidays, for a minimum of ten sessions.

Specialist Coaches from AFL Kids will guide the team with the assistance of professional Disability Sports Support Staff at a ratio of 1:5. You are welcome to bring your own carer!

 

Registration has been substantially subsidised at $100 and Active Kids Vouchers are accepted. A back pack, footy, socks and shorts are provided free thanks to AFL NSW/ACT and Pittwater Tigers! A Team Playing Guernsey will be loaned for the season. Just bring your footy boots!

There will be amazing extra opportunities throughout the season including the potential to play at a Sydney Swans half-time demonstration game and at Sydney Club Gala Days, amongst other opportunities our Kickability Players may like to participate in.

 

AFL also has a representative pathway, culminating in State representation at an annual National Championships, for those seeking to trial!
